WELL, THAT FUCKING SUCKS

We worked with Dana Howerton of Washington, DC to create this card. “When life gets hard,” he says, “it’s the kindness of others that helps you through it - like the simple act of listening, a comforting word, or a thoughtful card. Just knowing that someone else sees you and sees your struggle can lift you up.”

Despite his share of ups and downs, we’re glad to share that after eight years of being homeless in our nation’s capital, Dana now has housing. Dana receives 15% of the sales from this card and Second Story Cards donates an additional 5% to Young Women’s Project, an organization Dana has chosen to support.
