“Life is hard out there for a lot of people right now,” says cardmaker Dana Howerton of Washington, DC. “And while I have my own set of challenges, I still try to add positivity to the world. That’s why I wanted to make a card that offers encouragement and support, something you can give for just about any occasion worth celebrating, big or small. I’m a very independent person, but it’s a whole lot easier to keep my head up when I feel seen and appreciated by others.”
