HAPPY RETIREMENT

Eric Thompson-Bey, who helped us create this card, can’t wait for his own retirement.  “The best part,” he says with a smile, “will be waking up and knowing I don’t have to be at work, having the whole day ahead of me without having to follow someone else’s schedule.”

We asked him what his perfect day looks like as a retiree, and we gotta say it sounds pretty great! First, Eric will make sure he has a friend or special someone available to join him for the day. ”I want someone to enjoy the fun with!” he says.

The rest of the day includes hitting up the mall for some in-person shopping, catching a game (or two!), then rounding out the day with a nice lobster dinner: something Eric has never had before. He told us he wants to try something new and also treat himself. If that’s not what retirement is all about, we don’t know what is.

Eric currently has housing in our nation’s capital. He receives 15% of the sales form this card. An additional 5% is donated to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
