ETB1017“I’ve been dealing with a lot,” says Eric Thompson-Bey who helped create this card. “I just try to focus on the things I can control and take everything one step at a time.” As a returning citizen and someone who has experienced homelessness, this mindset helps him stay focused on all the good things in his life – like getting a new pair of stylish shoes! “I love sneakers,” he shares. “I really do. I was excited to combine my love for them with a message that means so much to me and my mental health.” A life-long resident of Washington, DC, Eric enjoys exploring the city on his bike. And his sneakers are always squeaky clean!
