“I have so much to be thankful for,” says David Cline. “I had a series of health challenges this year that resulted in being hospitalized multiple times for several weeks,” he shared. “I’m thankful though for my health, my amazing wife Ellie, my friends, the fact that we have housing…so much. And I’m thankful that people like my cards!” Speaking of Ellie, who is also one of our cardmakers, she told us a secret that David actually hated pumpkin pie until she convinced him to try her recipe. It was love at first bite! Sometimes, when we are with a person we love and appreciate, life tastes a little sweeter.

David reminds us to celebrate our gratitude for others all year long, and not just when we receive life-changing pie. “Tell one person today how much they mean to you,” he says, “you’ll be surprised how good you make them feel.”

David currently has housing – he and Ellie live in Nashville, TN. He receives 15% of the sales of this card. Another 15% is donated to Daybreak Arts.
