BIRTHDAY PANDAMONIUM

This card was inspired by the incredibly talented Cynthia Mewborn of Washington, DC. “I realize that this will never happen, but I’d love to have a pet panda,” she shares. “However, I’ve got enough problems with my housing as it is, none of which would be improved by having a 300-pound roommate eating bamboo all day, no matter how cute they might be.” Cynthia has been homeless twice in her life and although she currently has housing, it’s a precarious situation and she’s speaking up for all unhoused people to change the system and get decent, affordable housing for all.

Cynthia receives 15% of the sales from this card and Second Story Cards donates an additional 10% to a charity of the cardmaker's choice. Cynthia has chosen Friends of the National Zoo for this card.
