BIRTHDAY TREBLE

“I love music,” beams Cynthia Mewborn of Washington, DC. “It’s an expression of your soul that connects with others. It can make you smile or bring tears to your eyes, it’s incredibly powerful.” She’s been passionate about music her entire life. “My mother wanted me to be a singer so I took piano and voice lessons as a child.” Now she’s working on the release of her first opera. While her music endeavors are going well, her housing has hit a sour note. She’s been homeless off and on since 2012. “Right now I’m just focused on my opera and improving my housing situation.”
