“The best thing about the holiday season is the way it brings people together,” says Angie Whitehurst of Washington, DC. Very much a people person herself, Angie is both a gifted storyteller and a force for positive change in her community. Throughout the year she dedicates her time to a number of organizations working towards a more fair society for all of our neighbors. This card celebrates the joy of being home for the holidays with friends and family - a greater gift than all of the presents under the tree.

While no longer homeless, Angie’s housing instability goes back to the 1980s. She receives 15% of the sales from this card and Second Story Cards donates an additional 5% to the charity of the cardmaker's choice. Angie has chosen to support Doors of Change in San Diego, CA.
